NISAR, the first joint satellite of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), will be launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 5.40 p.m. on July 30. The GSLV-F16 rocket will inject the Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite into a 743-km sunsynchronous orbit with an inclination of 98.4 degrees.
